The Sydney Roosters made a remarkable comeback after a disappointing loss last week, shutting out the St George Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday evening.
Led by Tarryn Aiken's exceptional playmaking skills, the Roosters capitalized on their opportunities and scored six tries without conceding any points.
In the eighth minute, the Roosters gained an advantage with back-to-back penalties, allowing Aiken to break through the defense and score her second try of the season.
Kelleher successfully converted, extending the Roosters' lead to 12 points.
As half-time approached, the Roosters displayed their defensive prowess, with strong tackles from Pasikala, Fotu-Moala, and Davis thwarting the Dragons' attempts.
Despite a forward pass and an offside call denying the Dragons, Pasikala almost scored on her NRLW debut, but couldn't ground the ball before the halftime siren.
The second half saw both teams exchanging blows, with Boyle being put on report for a hip-drop tackle.
However, the Roosters' defense, known as the Bondi Wall, remained impenetrable, preventing the Dragons from making any significant progress towards the try-line.
