The Sydney Roosters have announced that they will be hosting invitation-only trials for their inaugural Lisa Fiaola U17s Girls Team.

This is a significant step for the Roosters, as they are the first club in the female game to establish a pathway from Tarsha Gale to Harvey Norman Women's Premiership to NRLW.

The Lisa Fiaola Cup trials provide a fantastic opportunity for talented female players to join the Roosters' system from the age of 16.

The Roosters have already achieved great success in their female pathways, with their U19 squad winning back-to-back Tarsha Gale Premierships in 2022 and 2023.

To be eligible for the Sydney Roosters Lisa Fiaola Cup season, players must be turning 16 or 17 in 2024.

This initiative by the Roosters highlights their commitment to developing and nurturing young female talent in rugby league.

It is an exciting prospect for aspiring players who dream of representing the Roosters at the highest level.
