The Sydney Roosters have announced that they have extended their partnership with Mabel Park State High School until the end of 2027, much to their delight.

Head of Pathways, Blake Cavallaro, has established a strong connection between the club and the Logan City-based school in their search for emerging talent.

NRLW stars Keilee Joseph and Otesa Pule are proud products of this affiliation.

The partnership began in 2020 when Joseph would fly from Queensland to Sydney each week to participate in the Roosters Tarsha Gale program.

Mabel Park SHS worked closely with Cavallaro to ensure that Joseph could meet her academic requirements while pursuing her professional football career.

This partnership not only offers incredible opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, but it also allows the coaching staff at Mabel Park SHS to expand their expertise through regular interaction with Roosters pathways coaches.

Recently, NRLW Vice-Captain Corban Baxter visited the school to meet with students and discuss her journey to playing professional football.

She also assisted the team with their Grand Final preparation.

Last week, all the hard work paid off as the Year 11/12 Girls team from Mabel Park SHS secured a remarkable comeback victory over Ipswich, winning the prestigious Titans Female School Competition Title.
