The annual NRL Rookie Camp provided a valuable learning experience for four promising Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players.
Clayton Faulalo, Zane Dunford, Charlie Thompson, and James Uesele gained insight into the life of a professional first grade player at the two-day camp held at the Novotel in Parramatta.
The camp featured workshops on personal brand, cultural awareness, gambling, alcohol and drugs, respectful relationships, sexual consent, vilification, social media, career coaching support, and education grant funding.
Tim Gee, the Sea Eagles Wellbeing and Education Manager, emphasized the importance of the camp's coverage of these key areas.
The young players had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and challenges that come with being a professional rugby league player.
They will no doubt benefit from the knowledge and guidance they received at the NRL Rookie Camp as they continue to develop their careers in the sport.
