Ronaldo Mulitalo Discusses Comeback Timeline

Ronaldo Mulitalo Discusses His ACL Recovery Timeline

Ronaldo Mulitalo has shared details about when he anticipates returning to the field after sustaining a severe ACL injury last October at the Pacific Championships.

At just 26 years old, he underwent surgery. While he initially aimed for an earlier return, the club has now indicated that his first possible game for the 2026 season could be on the horizon.

Provided everything proceeds as planned, fans can expect to see him back in action against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs during the NRL Magic Round.

"Yeah, I just spoke to Pickles, who is the head of performance, and he gave me Round 11," he commented during an appearance on The Chad Townsend Show on Sunday.

"I was honestly pushing for the round just after the bye, Round 8."

"If I'm good enough to play and they're paying me, I feel like I should be doing my job for the club."

"So yeah, Round 11 should be ticked off."

Mulitalo has been a member of the Cronulla Sharks since his NRL debut in 2019, achieving a remarkable 100 tries in 136 appearances.

He is currently under contract with Cronulla until the conclusion of the 2028 season.
