NSW Blues coach Laurie Daley included one debutant, prop Max King from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, in his 20-man squad for the match on Wednesday, May 28, at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Additionally, Penrith Panthers and Australian captain Isaah Yeo has been chosen to lead the Blues, marking him as the 22nd player to hold the captaincy.
