Huddersfield's Luke Robinson is set to discuss the permanent head coach position with the Giants, as he believes he is prepared to lead the team.

The Giants currently sit in ninth place in the Super League after a rough patch of form that they are eager to reverse.

Fans can catch the action as Huddersfield Giants take on Salford Red Devils live on Sky Sports Mix this Friday at 7.45pm.

After taking over as interim coach following Ian Watson's departure, Robinson is determined to improve the team's performance.

The Giants have struggled, losing nine of their last 10 games, but Robinson is ready to face the challenge head-on.

"I've never been one to rush into taking on the top job.

In this game, you're only a few weeks away from being in the firing line," Robinson shared with Sky Sports' The Verdict.

"It's important to find the right fit and timing, not just for me but for the club as well.

If they believe it's not the right time for me, I'll support whoever steps in to take the helm."Catch the clash between Huddersfield Giants and Salford Red Devils live on Sky Sports Mix this Friday at 7.45pm.
