Leeds Rhinos and the Burrow family have come together to announce the final farewell for the late, great Rob Burrow.

The iconic No 7 will be laid to rest on July 7, a date ingrained in the club's calendar as Rob Burrow Day, paying homage to the legendary player who donned that special jersey.

The Leeds Rhinos legend passed away at the age of 41 on June 2, after valiantly battling motor neurone disease for over four years.

Throughout his illustrious 17-year career, Burrow soared to new heights, clinching eight Super League titles, two Challenge Cup trophies, and three World Club Challenges with Leeds.

His contributions also extended to the international stage, as he proudly represented both England and Great Britain.

In honor of Rob's indelible legacy, Leeds City Council and the Lord Mayor of Leeds will host an exclusive civic reception on July 12.

This gathering will give the community a chance to pay their respects and celebrate the remarkable life of a true Rugby League icon.
