weststigers.com.au are reporting that the Wests Tigers have celebrated International Women's Day in a truly inspiring way.
This week, Wests Tigers marked the upcoming International Women's Day with a special event for club staff and sponsors.
It was a day filled with opportunities for females across the Wests Tigers family to come together and connect, like a well-drilled rugby league team on the field.
A highlight of the event was a keynote address by Wests Tigers Director Annabelle Williams OAM.
Williams, a Paralympic Gold Medallist, brought her winning spirit and experience to the event, much like a star player stepping up in a crucial game.
After starting the day with a morning pilates session and breakfast, Williams shared her many life experiences with the attendees.
As a motivational speaker, business owner, TV presenter, lawyer, board director, and mother, she truly embodies the versatility and resilience required in the game of rugby league.
Participants in the program will receive leadership training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
This will equip them with the skills and confidence needed to make their mark in the Wests Tigers family, much like great players making their mark in the history of the game.
