The Wests Tigers are determined to secure the signature of off-contract Penrith Panthers five-eighth Jarome Luai, according to reports from zerotackle.com.

Despite recent turmoil at the club, with a new board in place after an internal review, interim CEO Shane Richardson is focused on making big decisions for a club that has struggled for success in the past decade.

Richardson has called off the pursuit of Addin Fonua-Blake but remains committed to chasing Luai.

Speaking on SEN Radio, Richardson emphasized the importance of landing Luai's signature, stating that he knows the quality of Luai as both a human being and a leader, as well as acknowledging his talent on the field.

Richardson acknowledges that the Tigers have chased many players without success but believes Luai is a crucial target for the club.
