Paul Roache is set to make his debut for the NZ Warriors in the NRL, becoming the seventh instance of brothers playing for the club.

The match will take place against the Dolphins in the team's final regular season game at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

Head coach Andrew Webster has confirmed that the 24-year-old will be promoted from the extended bench to the game day interchange, making him Warrior #284.

Paulie will join his older brother Nathaniel, also known as Nate, who made 26 appearances for the club from 2016 to 2019.

The club has seen previous sets of brothers play together, including Tea and Iva Ropati, Jerry and Anthony Seuseu, Vinnie and Louis Anderson, Sam and Steve Rapira, Cooper and Joe Vuna, and Sione and Sam Lousi.

However, Nate Roache, currently with Manly Warringah, was unable to face his brother in their recent New South Wales Cup clash as he was on the sideline playing babysitter to his nephew Noah.
