The lads over at cowboys.com.au have kicked off some exciting news for Rugby League fans with the launch of the RLTD U18 Girls Preseason Nines Challenge.
This competition is sure to put a spring in the step of young athletes and get them fired up for the upcoming season.
The four-week challenge will be taking place at the Rugby League Townsville and District grounds in Kirwan, starting this weekend on 27 April and running through to 18 May.
Players who are keen to get involved are encouraged to rock up to the RLTD grounds 30 minutes before kick-off, with teams being put together on the day.
And with all local clubs chipping in to support the competition by providing jerseys, it's set to be a real showcase of local talent.
According to North Queensland Cowboys NRLW Head Coach Ricky Henry, this competition is a golden opportunity for young players to take their game to the next level and potentially make a name for themselves in the world of Rugby League.
So lace up your boots, grab your mouthguard, and get ready to show off your skills on the field - the game is calling for its next star player!
