Mitchell Johnson, the former cricket star, has found himself at odds with several ex-teammates in recent years.
It has now been revealed that a group chat involving fellow bowlers Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Nathan Lyon is no longer in use.
Johnson took a swipe at David Warner last weekend, just as he plans to retire from Test cricket after the upcoming clash against Pakistan in Sydney.
Warner, on the other hand, aims to bid farewell to the red-ball game in front of his home fans before making way for a new opener in the West Indies Tests.
Johnson believes Warner has no authority to dictate selection decisions and claims he has not fully taken responsibility for the ball-tampering scandal of 2018.
The cricket world has been stunned by Johnson's remarks, which are just the latest instance of him lashing out at his former teammates.
Earlier this year, he criticized Warner and his wife Candice, deeming it cringe-worthy that she always defends him in the media.
Johnson also labeled the current playing group as "gutless" for their role in Justin Langer's departure as head coach.
According to News Corp, the once lively WhatsApp chat between Johnson and his former teammates is now nonexistent, with the swipe over Langer's exit being the final straw in their 'fractured' relationship.
