Cowboys pick up seven Dally M votes v Tigers

In the latest update from cowboys.com.au, it has been revealed that Wests Tigers forward Sarah Togatuki has joined Zahara Temara in second place in the Dally M voting for the NRL Telstra Women's Premiership.

However, they both trail behind the current front-runner, Simaima Taufa, who has built a commanding six-point lead over her rivals.

Taufa's exceptional performances in the Raiders' recent 19-18 victory over the Dragons in Wollongong have earned her maximum points for the second consecutive week.

Togatuki has now entered the top three alongside her former Roosters teammates, with both players accumulating 11 points after receiving votes in Round 4.

Togatuki managed to secure five votes from two judges in her team's loss to the Cowboys, while Temara obtained four votes, which were taken by Taufa.

It is worth noting that the new Dally M voting process involves two judges watching each game and awarding points on a three-two-one basis.

This means that a maximum of six points can be earned in every match of the 2023 Telstra Women's Premiership season.

The public display of votes will conclude after the fourth round, and the voting process will now be conducted behind closed doors until the winner is announced in September.
