The North Queensland Cowboys will be bidding farewell to nine players at their Presentation Night\.
Among them is James Tamou, who recently announced his retirement from NRL level\.
Tamou had an impressive career, playing 307 games and spanning 15 seasons\.
During his time with the Cowboys, he appeared in 172 games, making him the 11th highest appearance holder in club history\.
Tamou was a key member of the Cowboys' premiership-winning team in 2015 and also represented both New South Wales and Australia.
Another player leaving the club is Coen Hess, who has been with the Cowboys since 2015\.
Hess has played 121 games and scored 36 tries during his time with the team\.
He has been a consistent performer and has also represented Queensland in State of Origin matches.
Gavin Cooper, a long-serving member of the Cowboys, will also be saying goodbye\.
Cooper has been with the club since 2011 and has played 323 games, making him the second highest appearance holder in Cowboys history\.
He was part of the team that won the premiership in 2015 and has also represented Queensland in State of Origin.
Other players leaving include Corey Jensen, who has played 76 games for the Cowboys, and Reuben Cotter, who made his NRL debut in 2019\.
Both players have shown great potential and have been valuable members of the team.
The departing players have made significant contributions to the Cowboys over the years and will be missed\.
The club will undoubtedly be looking to fill the void left by these players and continue to strive for success in the upcoming seasons.
