The North Queensland Cowboys have announced a groundbreaking five-year partnership with Rugby League Townsville District (RLTD) that will run through the 2028 season.

As reported by cowboys.com.au, the Cowboys will make a significant financial investment to support and expand junior and senior RLTD competitions, furthering their commitment to grassroots and community rugby league in Townsville and the wider North Queensland region.

The partnership will also see the RLTD gaining access to the Hutchinson Builders Centre and training field for coach and player development, as well as for functions and meetings.

Additionally, the Cowboys will host an annual RLTD Volunteer Round, providing volunteers from RLTD clubs with tickets to a designated game at Queensland Country Bank Stadium and a pre-game function.

Furthermore, the Cowboys have secured naming rights for all RLTD female and male competitions at both junior and senior levels, and their logo will appear on all RLTD polo shirts and representative jerseys, as well as on signage at the Junior Rugby League Fields in Kirwan.
