Ricky rages: Refs ruin Raiders' winning streak

‘They’re just guessing’: Ricky slams refs after Raiders’ third straight loss

Ricky Stuart, the coach with the most fines in NRL history, is back in the spotlight after criticizing the referees following the Raiders' third consecutive loss.

Frustrated after his team's 16-6 defeat to the Storm, Stuart accused the referees of "guessing" during the match.

With the penalty count (5-4) and six-agains (6-4) going against Canberra, referee Grant Atkins' decisions didn't sit well with Stuart.

The Raiders skipper, Elliott Whitehead, played it safe with a diplomatic response when asked about the officiating.

In true coach fashion, Stuart avoided a direct question by redirecting his answer to address Whitehead's previous response.

The fiery coach's frustration with the referees reflects the rough and tumble nature of Rugby League, where split-second decisions can make or break a game.

But as they say in the game, it ain't over 'til the final whistle blows, and the Raiders will be looking to bounce back stronger in the next fixture.
