The Women's Super League kicked off in 2024 with a bang as the Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors emerged victorious in their season openers.
The Leeds Rhinos put on a show-stopping performance against the Huddersfield Giants, with Evie Cousins, Zoe Hornby, and Lucy Murray each scoring a hat-trick of tries in a commanding 66-4 win.
The Rhinos took an early lead and never looked back, with Amelia Brown managing to salvage a try for the Giants.
Caitlin Beevers also shone on the field with two tries of her own, while Ruby Enright and Sophie Robinson added to the onslaught.
Over in Wigan, the Warriors battled it out against Barrow and came out on top with an 18-4 victory.
The first half was a close affair, with neither side able to break the deadlock.
However, three minutes into the second half, Anna Davies made her mark and put Wigan in the lead.
