Rhiannon Bonner is a rising star in women's rugby league, driven by family legacy and fueled by her passion for the game.

The Wests Tigers have showcased an impressive pipeline of talent, having reached the finals in both the Lisa Fiaola Cup and Tarsha Gale Cup over the last two seasons.

Bonner is among the promising players emerging from the club's pathways system.

Having played her first season in the Tarsha Gale Cup this year, Bonner excelled in multiple positions in the back-line, predominantly at fullback.

Her skill set makes her a formidable opponent; she possesses exceptional awareness and attacking intelligence, especially during critical moments of play.

At just 18, she has already represented the Under-17s City team in 2024, and she is anticipated to be a key player in the upcoming 2026 Tarsha Gale Cup season.

Her connection to the Wests Tigers runs deep, as she shares a familial bond with the club.

"I had family grow up wearing the Tigers jersey, so it is honestly a privilege and I feel so proud to wear the jersey on the field and do the best I can," Bonner expressed.

"Everyone's so close and everyone's best friends on the field and off the field.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Bonner's family and community support not only drive her ambitions but also reinforce her sense of belonging within the team, making her journey in rugby league all the more meaningful.
