Adam Reynolds has made it clear that he's not giving up the Broncos captaincy without a fight, declaring he's "100 per cent" committed to leading the team in 2025.
Amidst calls for Pat Carrigan to take over as skipper, Reynolds is standing firm in his desire to continue wearing the armband.
With Brisbane legend Gorden Tallis singing Carrigan's praises as a potential captain under new coach Michael Maguire, there's been speculation about a changing of the guard at the Broncos.
However, Carrigan himself has distanced himself from the rumors, throwing his support behind Reynolds.
"I'd love to do the job next year, 100 per cent," Reynolds told The Courier Mail.
"I love the battle of the captaincy and the mental side of things as well." Despite facing criticism for Brisbane's disappointing season, Reynolds is ready to embrace the challenges that come with being a leader on and off the field.
The experienced 34-year-old acknowledges the scrutiny that comes with his position, but remains unfazed.
Even if Maguire decides to make a change in leadership, Reynolds is prepared to adapt and continue to be a key communicator for the team.
