Reynolds Potentially Open to Club Switch in 2027

Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds has indicated that the 2026 season might not mark the end of his NRL career, leaving open the possibility of playing for another club beyond his current team.

The 35-year-old halfback had signed a one-year extension earlier this year, which was generally anticipated to be his final contract, leading him toward a coaching role at the Broncos.

However, Reynolds has now expressed uncertainty about his future and indicated that if he maintains his physical health, he may continue his playing career into 2027, even potentially with another club.

"I still haven't come to terms or come to an agreement where I am going to finish up, I don't know," Reynolds told Fox Sports.

"If I am playing good football next year and I'm fit and healthy and enjoying myself, I don't see a reason to end that."

Reynolds will turn 36 when his current contract concludes and has faced a number of injury challenges in recent years, including a significant setback during the 2023 grand-final victory over the Storm.

Nonetheless, the experienced playmaker asserts that his choices will be based on his performance rather than his age.
