In a spectacular display of skill and determination, Reuben Garrick has soared into fourth place on the list of top point-scorers for the mighty Sea Eagles, according to a report on seaeagles.com.au.
Garrick's impressive 10-point haul against the Gold Coast Titans at 4 Pines Park on Sunday has now propelled him to a grand total of 1100 points (with 75 tries and 400 goals) in just 128 games since his NRL debut with Manly back in 2019.
This outstanding achievement sees him surpass the legendary Matthew Ridge, Manly's former fullback, who racked up 1093 points (including 32 tries, 477 goals, and 11 field goals) during his illustrious career with the club from 1990 to 1996.
It's worth noting that the value of a try in rugby league was increased from three to four points back in 1982, adding an extra layer of excitement and challenge to the game.
With Garrick firmly committed to the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2027 season, the coveted club record of 1917 points, currently held by the iconic Graham Eadie, is well within his sights.
In what can only be described as a meteoric rise, Garrick has solidified his status as a record-breaking sensation for the Sea Eagles in recent years, cementing his legacy as a true star in the world of rugby league.
