The NRL has announced its referee appointments for the reduced Round 15 of the 2025 season.
According to zerotackle.com, Origin referee Ashley Klein will be restricted to officiating from the bunker this weekend, while Chris Butler, the bunker official for the upcoming Wednesday night game, will also not be on the field, instead managing two of the five games from the bunker.
He has been absent from on-field duties for several weeks.
The NRL is using these shorter rounds to give many referees a break; however, Adam Gee and Grant Atkins will still be active, each taking on one game on-field and another from the bunker.
