Reece has crowning moment with Clive Churchill Medal

Broncos' standout Reece Walsh delivered an exceptional grand final performance, earning the Clive Churchill Medal during Brisbane's 26-22 victory over the Storm.

Walsh showcased his skills by running 176 metres, recording 14 tackles, and providing three assists, all while executing remarkable defensive plays that saved three tries.

Comprehensively dominating the match, Walsh set up tries on both flanks with precision passes. In a critical moment, he executed an outstanding tackle on Ryan Papenhuyzen, thwarting the Storm's comeback efforts.

This victory places Walsh among an elite group as he becomes the fifth Bronco to receive the Churchill Medal, joining legends like Allan Langer, Gorden Tallis, Darren Lockyer, and Shaun Berrigan, the latter of whom won it during Brisbane's last grand final triumph in 2006.
