Retired footy journeyman, Poasa Faamausili, has dusted off his boots and found a new club after hanging up his jersey in October following a solid career in the intense world of the NRL.
Making a comeback to the local footy scene, Faamausili, who last strutted his stuff with the Canterbury Bulldogs, has had stints with the Sydney Roosters, New Zealand Warriors, St George Illawarra Dragons, and The Dolphins.
Hailing from across the ditch in New Zealand, Faamausili crossed the Tasman Sea at just 17 with a single-minded determination to crack the NRL.
A key member of the Roosters' 2016 Under-20s premiership-winning squad, he's now decided to lace up the boots once more for the Narellan Jets in the Group 6 Rugby League competition.
This club has been home to some legends of the game like Ben Roberts, Shannon Gallant, Sean Keppie, and Matt King.
In his final season with the Bulldogs, Faamausili showed his grit and determination in the front-row, notching up two tackle busts, 56.3 post-contact metres, 35 tackles, and 168 total running metres in just four appearances.
It seems like this seasoned player still has some gas left in the tank as he gears up for his new chapter with the Narellan Jets.
With his experience and expertise, Faamausili is sure to bring a touch of class to his new team as they hit the field in pursuit of victory.
