Phillip Sami, a winger for the Gold Coast Titans, has expressed his confidence and excitement as his team prepares to face the Penrith Panthers, the defending premiers in the upcoming game.

Despite the Panthers' formidable reputation, Sami is not intimidated and instead sees it as an opportunity to challenge himself against one of the strongest teams in recent years.

The Penrith Panthers, currently leading the ladder, will travel to the Gold Coast for the match on Saturday.

The Titans, aiming to finish the season on a high note, will introduce some fresh talent onto the field.

Tom Weaver will make his debut as the halfback, while Keano Kini, in his rookie season, will start as the fullback, and Jayden Campbell will move to the five-eighth position.

Additionally, Alofiana Khan-Pereira, also in his first NRL season, will join the team, resulting in an inexperienced backline.

Despite the young and relatively inexperienced lineup, Sami, at 26 years old, is considered one of the veterans.

Having a standout season, with his performance arguably being the best of his career, Sami believes that the young Titans are prepared to deliver a strong performance against the Panthers.
