Sharks sensation Jesse Ramien has expressed his eternal gratitude for the overwhelming support he and his partner Shell received after facing a Bali baby saga that would make even the toughest footballer tremble.

Teo, their son, entered the world six weeks ahead of schedule in Bali, requiring urgent medical attention to survive.

The pair had to swiftly arrange for a life-saving flight back to their homeland, with Teo even needing resuscitation for a harrowing five minutes before their journey home.

Ramien, much like he does on the footy field, turned to the Australian embassy in Indonesia for assistance, but the hefty price tag of $130,000 for that crucial flight loomed large.

Thankfully, a beacon of hope emerged in the form of a GoFundMe page initiated by Shavaun Hunt, the partner of fellow league player Royce Hunt, which raised a commendable $59,000 to aid in the safe return of Teo.

Now safely back on Australian soil, a relieved Ramien expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them through this trying time.

"We're forever grateful to all the mates, family, and everyone who lent a helping hand, sent a kind word, or contributed in any way," he said, echoing the camaraderie and teamwork that defines the Rugby League spirit.
