In a surprising turn of events, the NSW State of Origin team has been hit with a bombshell announcement regarding Brad Fittler.

Greg Alexander, Fittler's closest adviser, has made the sudden decision to quit his role with the NSW Blues.

This shocking revelation was dropped during Alexander's radio show, leaving fans and officials stunned.

With Fittler scheduled to present his recommendations for his coaching staff in 2024 to the NSW Rugby League board, this unexpected departure has added another layer of uncertainty to the team's future.

Alexander has been a part of the Blues' setup since 2018, working alongside other prominent figures such as Andrew Johns, Danny Buderus, and Paul McGregor.

Although Fittler's contract extension beyond 2023 is still pending, it is now rumored that he will be granted a one-year extension.

This decision, if true, will likely result in a staff shake-up, with Alexander being the first senior official to be replaced.
