Rabbitohs Line Up Cody Walker Contract Extension

Cody Walker, currently showcasing exceptional form at the age of 36, is on the verge of extending his contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, according to chief executive Blake Solly.

Walker, who is a free agent after this season, has expressed a strong desire to continue his playing career.

His continued high performance suggests he will receive a one-year extension, allowing him to cement his status as a one-club legend with the Rabbitohs since making his NRL debut a decade ago.

After struggling with injuries last season and only participating in 11 matches, Walker has bounced back impressively.

He ranks third in the competition for try assists, second for line break assists, and shares second place in 40/20's.

Walker's contributions are critical for the Rabbitohs, especially with the upcoming return of Latrell Mitchell to his left edge.

Solly remains optimistic about Walker's future, anticipating the club will present a contract to the influential Indigenous player for the 2027 season.
