Rabbitohs' Arrow set for musical tribute

NRL Grand Final 2026 entertainment saga explained: Who is performing and what is the Jai Arrow tribute?

Jai Arrow's MND diagnosis has prompted support across rugby league, and he received the 2026 Dally M Awards' Provan-Summons Medal for embodying the game's spirit.

Sunday's NRL grand final pre-game show will honour Arrow with a performance of "You'll Never Walk Alone", the Gerry and the Pacemakers song and Liverpool FC anthem.

Amy Shark will lead the performance, joined by members of The Screaming Jets, Grinspoon and Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.

Peking Duk will not perform, despite earlier rumours linking the electronic duo to the show.

Adam Hyde and Reuben Styles confirmed their absence on Instagram: "Despite the rumours, Peking Duk will not be performing at the NRL grand final tonight...We never got the call-up," the post read.

Each musician's appearance fee is reportedly being donated to the fight against MND.

The article also quoted: "Jai is an inspiration to many people. We've received a lot of correspondence at the NRL about how what Jai is doing has inspired them."
