Nick Meaney had another impressive and consistent year in the purple jersey for the Melbourne Storm.

In his second season with the team, Meaney found his home in the vacant fullback position.

He showcased his outstanding effort in all 25 of his in-season appearances, making him the NRL's second highest point scorer (222) and goal kicker (91) for the year.

Meaney started the season off solidly, earning the Spirit of ANZAC Medal after the club's annual clash with the Warriors.

His form never faltered throughout the season, and he continued to receive recognition.

The Storm's members even voted him as the 2023 RedZed Members Player of the Year.

By the end of the season, Meaney had scored a total of 10 tries and contributed to 11 try-assists.

He also had an impressive 91 tackle-breaks and recorded the most total run metres in the squad with 3,694.

These statistics highlight Meaney's abilities and potential for yet another exciting year ahead.

As a Ballina Seagulls junior, Meaney has proven himself to be a valuable asset for the Melbourne Storm and a player to watch in the future.
