Reigning Hostplus Cup prop of the year, Tukimihia Simpkins, has been named in the Titans' 19-man squad for their match against the Bulldogs at Magic Round on Sunday.
Simpkins, who joined the Gold Coast as a development player following an impressive season with the Norths Devils, has made five Cup appearances this year.
He was recognized as the best front rower in 2024 and previously played five games with the Wests Tigers.
His inclusion on the extended bench is the only change to the squad heading to Suncorp Stadium.
Notably, David Fifita will be playing for the Ipswich Jets after being named among the reserves.
Jacob Alick-Wiencke and Allan Fitzgibbon will also participate in Hostplus Cup, joining Fifita as the three players cut from Gold Coast's squad 24 hours before the match.
The Titans have won two of their last three Magic Round clashes and aim to bounce back from their Round 2 loss to the Bulldogs.
The game is set to kick off at 1.50 PM on Sunday in Brisbane.
