Preston's Charge Crushed: Four Games on the Sideline

Judiciary Update: Preston Unsuccessful

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

Jacob Preston will face a four-game suspension after his unsuccessful attempt to overturn a crusher tackle charge at the NRL Judiciary, as reported by bulldogs.com.au.

He was charged with a Grade 1 crusher tackle on Tino Fa'asuamaleaui during the Bulldogs' Round 9 victory against the Gold Coast Titans.

Due to being a third-time offender, Preston faced a three-week suspension if he entered an early guilty plea or a four-week suspension if he challenged the charge unsuccessfully.

His next opportunity for selection will be in the Bulldogs' Round 15 match against the Rabbitohs.
