Following an intense Saturday of NRL action, the Match Review Committee has been quite active, announcing charges against four players.
Among those singled out is Wests Tigers hooker Apisai Koroisau, who finds himself facing scrutiny for a cannonball tackle on Griffin Neame just five minutes into the match at Leichhardt Oval.
If Koroisau opts to plead guilty early, he will incur a $1000 penalty; however, if he chooses to contest the charge at the judiciary and does not succeed, the fine escalates to $1500.
Sharks centre Jesse Ramien also faces repercussions, having been charged for a shoulder charge on Tom Jenkins, which could cost him $1500 with an early guilty plea.
Completing the list are Dragons prop Emre Guler and Cowboys back-rower Heilum Luki, both dealing with shoulder charge violations.
Each of these players, if they take the early guilty plea option, will be liable for a $1000 fine, while failing to successfully challenge the charges could result in a rise to $1500.
