Queensland representatives Patrick Carrigan and Reuben Cotter have been cleared of high tackle charges at the NRL judiciary.
Both players faced Grade 1 charges following Round 23 incidents involving Jack Bostock and Jayden Campbell.
While they were looking at minor fines, they opted to contest the charges, believing they had sufficient grounds to challenge the decisions, and they proved correct.
The hearings concluded on Tuesday evening after a combined duration of just over two hours.
Cotter's incident occurred during the opening match of Round 23 against the Gold Coast Titans. This was following a rough week for the Cowboys, who had suffered a heavy loss to the Sydney Roosters.
The shot went unnoticed by the on-field officials but was flagged the following day.
Meanwhile, Carrigan's tackle occurred just two minutes into the Broncos' tumultuous game against the Dolphins, where the defending champions initially led 24-0 but ultimately lost 40-32.
By successfully contesting their charges, both players maintain clean records, ensuring any future infractions would lead to lesser penalties in the remaining weeks of the season.
The Cowboys remain in contention for the finals with a favorable schedule ahead and a bye approaching, facing the Parramatta Eels this weekend.
The Broncos, on the other hand, are set to seek redemption in a challenging home match against the New Zealand Warriors.
Both teams are scheduled to play on Saturday.
