In a stunning move, Max Plath has secured a well-deserved contract upgrade and extension after impressing during the 2024 NRL pre-season.

The latest news from dolphinsnrl.com.au reveals that Plath, a rising star who made his NRL debut in round 14 against the Warriors, has been rewarded with an upgrade to his current deal, extending his contract through to the end of the 2026 season.

The 22-year-old lock has showcased his supreme fitness by dominating the 1.2 kilometre time trial, leaving his fellow Dolphins players in his wake.

Plath's exceptional performances have not gone unnoticed, as he was awarded the coveted Redcliffe Dolphins Player of the Year title for his outstanding contributions during the 2023 Hostplus Cup campaign, despite joining the team midway through the season.
