The Perth Bears have announced that New Balance will be their inaugural apparel and kit manufacturer, marking a significant milestone as they become the first Australian elite sports team to collaborate with the brand.

This partnership, which spans four years, will see New Balance produce the Bears' kits for the 2027 to 2030 seasons.

New Balance is already associated with prominent Australian cricketers such as Pat Cummins and Steve Smith, as well as various global sports stars and teams.

"The Perth Bears are the most exciting story in Australian sport," said Perth Bears CEO Anthony De Ceglie in a statement regarding the partnership. He added, "This is the latest history-making chapter with many more to come."

De Ceglie expressed pride in aligning with a globally recognized brand, stating, "We're incredibly honoured that a brand with such incredible global recognition as New Balance would team up with the Bears to make its first foray into the NRL at a club level." He emphasized that the partnership signifies more than just branding, remarking, "the apparel partner is more than a name on the kit - it is a statement of the values and vision for the team."
