In a move to bolster their future backline, the Penrith Panthers have secured another promising talent by signing a prospect from the Wests Tigers.
Peken, a player from the Patrician Brothers' Blacktown team that clinched the 2025 Peter Mulholland Cup, will participate in the Under-19s SG Ball Cup next year as he continues his development.
While primarily positioned in the centres, the young athlete has also played on the wing and in the halves over the past year at both club and school levels.
This signing follows the earlier agreement of Camden Rams junior Thomas Goodfield, a product of St Gregory's College, who is set to join the Panthers for the upcoming season.
Goodfield has spent the last two seasons with the Magpies in the Under-17s Harold Matthews Cup, making a notable impact. As a representative for the 2024 Under-16s NSW City team, he aims to replicate his success at the Panthers.
"I've played this sport all the way up through the grades, but I'd just be over the moon about it if it does happen in the future. It would be so good (to play in the NRL)."
