The Penrith Panthers have thrown their hat in the ring for former QLD Maroons utility Moses Mbye, in a move that could add some extra spice to their halves lineup.
Mbye, who hasn't seen NRL action since 2023, is reportedly catching the eye of the Panthers as they seek to bolster their squad.
At 31 years old, Mbye may have been out of the game for a while, but his skills have not gone unnoticed.
Rumors have been swirling about his potential return to the NRL, and now it seems that Penrith is keen to make it happen.
With just one spot left on their roster for next season, the Panthers are looking to Mbye to provide some much-needed depth behind star player Nathan Cleary.
Having previously played under the coaching of Ivan Cleary at the Wests Tigers, Mbye is no stranger to the Panthers' head honcho.
Despite still being under contract with St Helens for 2025, the potential for a return to the NRL is on the table for Mbye.
Will he make a triumphant comeback to the field, or will this just be another chapter in the ongoing saga of the NRL's player movements? Only time will tell.
