Veteran Parramatta Eels prop Junior Paulo has shared his thoughts on his NRL future, expressing a desire to continue his journey in the west.
As his contract nears its conclusion at the end of the season, Paulo has been showcasing his best form under the guidance of new coach Jason Ryles.
Known for his powerful gameplay and skillful offloading, Paulo is an asset for numerous NRL clubs.
"I'd definitely love to. That's something between my manager and the club, so I'd love to stay," he stated.
Although he had a brief tenure in the nation's capital, Paulo has solidified his status as a veteran with 208 appearances in the blue and gold jersey.
In addition, he has represented the NSW Blues 11 times and has been a longtime captain of the Samoan national team, where he proudly wore the Samoan colors 20 times, making him their most-capped player.
In addition to retaining Paulo, a key focus for the Eels is to sign Mitch Barnett, who has recently been released by the New Zealand Warriors due to compassionate reasons.
