The Parramatta Junior Rugby League will be holding their first Wellbeing and Culture Day on March 29th at Accor Stadium.

This event, aimed at U14 players, coaches, trainers, managers, and parents, will feature four sessions on mental health, preventing violence, and referees.

General Manager Adam Fairley expressed excitement for the event, stating that the board and staff are looking forward to the educational experience provided by qualified presenters.

The focus of the day is to promote the physical and mental well-being of all involved in junior rugby league.

The initiative highlights the league's commitment to the holistic development of their players, coaches, and families.

By addressing important topics such as mental health and prevention of violence, the PJRL is creating a supportive and inclusive environment for its members.

Fairley emphasized the importance of promoting positive cultural values within the rugby league community, stating, "the game has a strong sense of culture, which we must enhance and promote in a positive and proactive manner."

The Wellbeing and Culture Day demonstrates the league's recognition of the broader impact of rugby league beyond the field.

By providing resources and education on mental health and violence prevention, the PJRL is investing in the overall health and safety of its participants.

This commitment to well-being aligns with the league's core values of teamwork, respect, and inclusivity, fostering a positive environment for young rugby league players to thrive.

The event also serves as a platform for attendees to engage with experts and learn from each other.

By bringing together players, coaches, and parents for a day dedicated to education and discussion, the PJRL aims to strengthen the sense of community within the league.

Fairley emphasized the collaborative nature of the event, stating, "We are excited to bring everyone together for what we believe will be a powerful day of learning, sharing and understanding." Through this initiative, the Parramatta Junior Rugby League is not only shaping better athletes but also empowering individuals to lead healthy and fulfilling lives both on and off the field.
