The Parramatta Eels have scored a try with their new head coach announcement, with Jason Ryles set to take the reins after Brad Arthur's departure.

It's a move that has been in the works since May when Arthur was sent to the sin bin, but now the Eels have officially signed Ryles for the next four seasons starting in 2025.

Ryles is no rookie in the coaching game, with a playbook full of winning strategies from his time under the tutelage of legends like Craig Bellamy and Trent Robinson.

The Eels are hoping his experience in high-pressure situations and elite performance cultures will lead them to victory.

Having already made a name for himself on the field in his NRL playing days, Ryles has seamlessly transitioned into coaching roles with the Melbourne Storm, the England rugby union team, and the Sydney Roosters.

Now, he's ready to tackle the challenge of leading the Eels to glory.

As Ryles prepares to don the blue and gold jersey of Parramatta later this year, he's looking forward to bringing his expertise to the team and helping them reach their full potential.

With Ryles at the helm, the Eels will be aiming for nothing less than a grand final victory.
