The Parramatta Eels have hit a try of a milestone in the construction of their Centre of Excellence and Community Centre, with the iconic Eels logo now proudly installed at the entrance.
It's a moment that will surely have fans cheering like a rowdy crowd at a grand final.
Crafted by XL Precast, the logo was carefully placed on a massive prefabricated concrete wall, showing off the team's colors and spirit.
Transported from Yennora NSW to Kellyville in the wee hours of the morning, the logo was finally hoisted into position by a 300-tonne crane from Everwilling Cranes, with the team from Kane Constructions ensuring everything was secure - just like a solid try-saving tackle.
The unity of the two logo sections on site marked a special moment for everyone involved in the project, like a play that the whole team practiced tirelessly for.
The Eels content team was there to capture the historic moment, ensuring it will be immortalized for fans to enjoy.
Funded by a powerhouse lineup including the Hills Shire Council, the Australian Government, NSW Government, and the Parramatta Leagues Club, the Centre of Excellence and Community Centre project is powering on towards its early 2025 opening.
With progress moving faster than a lightning-fast winger down the sideline, it won't be long before the Eels have a state-of-the-art facility to call their home ground.
