The Parramatta Eels have launched a set of free education resources in honor of the NRL's Multicultural Round.
These resources are aimed at helping teachers in Western Sydney and beyond engage students in discussions on respect, inclusion, identity, and culture.
The education pack includes lesson plans, activities, and discussion prompts that align with the values of the game and the diverse cultural makeup of the Parramatta community.
The goal is to use the power of sport to connect with young people in meaningful ways and celebrate identity and belonging.
This initiative is part of the club's efforts to expand their community programs, with nearly half of local schools now participating in educational and social impact initiatives.
The resources are designed to bring important conversations into the classroom and provide teachers with simple tools to do so.
The Parramatta Eels see this as an opportunity to make a positive impact and promote inclusivity through the platform of sports.
