Paramedic shortage forces NRLW game delay at Eric Tweedale

Rugby League fans eager to witness some NRLW action at Eric Tweedale Stadium were left twiddling their thumbs as the clash between the Eels and the Knights hit a bit of a snag.

According to reports from news.com.au, the showdown between Parramatta and Newcastle was put on hold due to a missing paramedic.

It seems that the home team dropped the ball when it came to securing the necessary medical personnel for the game.

Scheduled to kick off at 11am, the match is still in limbo as officials scramble to find a paramedic at the last minute.

As the NRL spokesperson put it, "No paramedic, no play.

We're working on sorting this out."
