Papenhuyzen or not, focus remains the same says Lenihan

In this weekend's clash between the Storm and the Titans, all eyes are on whether Ryan Papenhuyzen will make his long-awaited NRL return.

However, Titans coach Jim Lenihan hasn't spent too much time on this scenario.

He believes that even without Papenhuyzen, the Storm remain a top four team and have a very capable fullback in Nick Meaney.

Meaney has been filling in for Papenhuyzen in the No.

1 jersey and has been performing well.

Lenihan is confident in Meaney's abilities and doesn't see the need to worry about Papenhuyzen's potential return.

Despite this, Lenihan acknowledges that the Storm will likely inject Papenhuyzen into the game at some point.

However, he is more concerned about the danger posed by the opposition's current back five.

The Titans are taking confidence from their Round 3 victory against the Storm.

They hope to replicate that performance and cause an upset.

They aim to break a 3,429 day hoodoo, as they haven't beaten the Storm at AAMI Park since Round 5, 2014.

Overall, Lenihan's focus remains the same, whether Papenhuyzen plays or not.

He believes in his team's abilities and is determined to give the Storm a tough challenge.
