The Penrith Panthers have made a significant addition by signing one of New Zealand's top forward prospects on a two-year deal.
Crosby, known for his standout performances in the middle of the field, has joined the Panthers following a successful period with the New Zealand Warriors. There, he became a fan favorite and built an impressive highlight reel while competing in the Under-21s Jersey Flegg Cup and the NSW Cup.
Prior to his transition to rugby league in 2023, Crosby dedicated two years to Wellington rugby union's academy, where he gained recognition in the 15-man game, emerging from St Patrick's College Silverstream.
Reflecting on his decision to switch sports, Crosby noted, "Everything was there in Wellington for me, like family, friends, I had a job, and footy was going alright there." He acknowledged the risks involved in making the switch, stating, "It was a risk, and it's paid off for me, so it's going to pay off for anyone else as well."
