The warriors.kiwi website is reporting that the NSW Cup Finals have come to a disappointing end for the NZ Warriors team.

The Penrith Panthers put on a show-stopping performance, scoring three tries in a blistering 11-minute blitz to secure a 24-12 victory in Saturday's New South Wales Cup elimination playoff at Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.

In a display of sheer determination, Daine Laurie (51 minutes), Jesse McLean (57 minutes), and Casey McLean (61 minutes) led the Panthers to pull away from what had been a tight contest, building a commanding 24-6 lead.

Despite valiant efforts from the Warriors, they were unable to recover quickly enough to keep their finals dreams alive.

A late try from second rower Jacob Laban in the 75th minute provided a glimmer of hope for the Warriors, but the clock was not on their side.

Penrith's dominance in possession and field position in the first half set the tone for the match, with Asu Kepaoa and Jesse McLean crossing the try line early on to give the Panthers an early advantage.

The Warriors fought bravely, but ultimately fell short in their quest for victory.

The Penrith Panthers showcased their talent and skill, leaving the Warriors with a bitter taste of defeat as their season came to an end.
