Panthers Players Roast Reece Walsh with Savage Banter

Reece Walsh mocked by Panthers players in brutal development after NRL grand final

In a brutal development for Reece Walsh, Penrith Panthers players have mockingly taunted him at a fan day before the NRL grand final.

The incident in question occurred when Walsh responded to a Panthers fan's comment about Moses Leota potentially injuring him in the grand final by saying, "I'll take your mum's." This interaction was captured in a video shared on social media, which showed Panthers players Peter V'landys and James Fisher-Harris mocking Walsh in light of the incident.

Fisher-Harris can be heard jokingly saying "your mum" before bursting into laughter, while another player asks, "Whose mum? Whose mum?" and Leota adds, "your dad."

Fisher-Harris has faced criticism before for his behavior, notably after starting a "we hate Parra" chant following the Panthers' grand final victory over the Eels last year and declaring, "Parra are the sons." These actions were deemed arrogant and classless by many.

Although this year's comments may be seen as light-hearted, they add to the challenges Walsh has faced.

Despite his stellar season and the Broncos' journey to the grand final, Walsh struggled to perform at his best in the decider.

Throughout the match, the fullback appeared to be hampered by an injury, and his usual impact was limited.

In the first half, Walsh only managed six runs for 32 meters.

He also committed errors, including knocking the ball on and being forced into his in-goal area after running sideways.

Additionally, he gifted the Panthers a seven-tackle set by kicking the ball dead.

These struggles further compounded the disappointment for Walsh and the Broncos.
