Judiciary Update: Sorensen Seeks Downgrade

The Penrith Panthers have announced their intention to seek a downgrade for Scott Sorensen's charge at the NRL Judiciary.

Sorensen was cited for a Grade 2 shoulder charge on Nathan Brown during the Round 8 match against the Sea Eagles, which could result in a suspension of 2-3 matches.

In related news, players Casey McLean and Dylan Edwards have accepted monetary penalties for their respective Grade 1 offences.

McLean faced disciplinary action for a careless high tackle on Tom Trbojevic, while Edwards was penalized for tripping Tommy Talau.
